As I was positioned at the Lake to take sunset images I saw this group of geese beginning to waddle toward the highway on their way to the lake. I stepped out onto the highway and stopped traffic both directions so the geese could walk across the highway in safety. With camera in hand I snapped this image showing the long line of geese crossing the highway with an approaching car waiting. It isn't everyday that a Wildlife photographer also gets to be a crossing guard for a family of geese. I hope you enjoy this print and will share the link with your family and friends.
